Janelle
Janelle Pullman is one of the foremost hair loss specialists in the Bay Area with over thirty years of experience in the industry. Her unparalleled professional background combined with her compassion and exuberant personality makes her stand out as a hair care specialist. At the young age of 12, she began styling wigs for fashion and fun and assisted her mother after she established the premier wig shop, Wigworks, in the early ’70s. Her passion for hair led her to Honolulu where she worked closely with legendary stylist Paul Mitchell. She performed onstage platform hairstyling with Mr. Mitchell, as well as partnered with legendaries Jean Braa, Zenon, and Alan Bush. The group pioneered the popular strand by strand hair extension method and the development of Mega Hair. She was highly involved with the development and distribution of the Paul Mitchell line and later worked as a color representative for L’Oreal and stylist instructor for Matrix.
Janelle later returned to the Bay Area and expanded Wigworks with the establishment of Extensions for Hair. The revolutionary new hair extension method offered clients with thin hair the opportunity to augment their locks rather than rely solely on a wig or hair clip for length or fullness. Her high-quality hair extensions are popular with women of all ages and her skill at applying them sets her above others in the field.
As a breast cancer survivor, Janelle's passion is helping others who are traveling down this painful journey and understands from first-hand experience the devastation of complete hair loss. She finds great joy in helping cancer patients find the wig that is most like their own hair and is complementary to their face and style; feeling beautiful and most like yourself is a much-needed gift during this complicated time. Janelle is so skilled that many of her clients even continue to wear wigs after their hair grows back! Once they get used to wearing a hairpiece they realize how easy, convenient, and fun they can be - and how nice it is to have great looking hair every day.

Wigworks only sells premium hair products that look natural and are reasonably priced. On a monthly basis, Janelle chooses her favorite wigs and lists them for sale on the website. Any wig purchased online may be brought into the shop, by appointment, for a free bang trim. She also has a full line of unique clip-on hairpieces to suit a variety of needs and budgets. Brittney's passion for hairstyling, hair care, and helping others to feel beautiful began at a very young age. Both her mother and grandmother own very successful salons and wig shops and her earliest memories are filled with the sounds of clicking scissors, the smell of luxurious shampoos, and the sight of watching a client transform into the best version of herself. She credits her dedication, talent, and work ethic to these amazing women who have paved the way before her.
Brittney has been in the industry for over ten years and her incredible achievements have provided her with amazing skills to cater to her clients. After completing her education in Northern California, she decided to follow her dreams to the style capital of the world: Beverly Hills. While there, she had the immense privilege to train under Kim Vo, A-List stylist, master colorist, and world-renowned beauty innovator. Brittney experienced the rare opportunity to assist Mr. Vo while learning valuable coloring and styling techniques as they worked on many television shows and photoshoots together.
Brittney's specialties include optimizing blondes, the precise skill of balayage, hair extension application, and long hair styling. She is certified by numerous premiere extension lines including Hairdreams Extensions, Hotheads Extensions, Dream Catchers Extensions, and Brazilian Blowout Treatments.
